FLOWABLE REPAIR MORTAR

Product Description:

CRYSTAL MORTAR-15 is a cement-based, high strength, polymer modified, fiber-added, fluid repair mortar that can be applied thinly and thickly.

Areas of Use:

• In the interior and exterior floors of all structures,

• For ground level correction and filling purposes,

• In the repair of concrete floors exposed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic,

Application Instructions:

Surface preparation:

The surface to be coated must be hard and solid before application. The areas with low adhesion are determined and the weak parts on the ground are removed and the area to be corrected is expanded. The surface should be clean and free of all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, foreign substances, soft or weak layers. All dust and particles should be cleaned from the surface.

Priming:

CRYSTAL PRIMER-100 should be applied to the prepared surface with a soft brush or pump and left to dry (1-5 hours). Depending on the absorbency of the surface, CRYSTAL PRIMER-100 can be diluted with clean water at a ratio of 1:3. For solid and non-absorbent grounds, two coats of priming at 1:3 are sufficient. Mixing:

CRYSTAL MORTAR-15 should be mixed with 4.75-5.0 liters of water for one kraft bag (25 kg). A low-speed drill and mixer tip should be used to ensure a homogeneous mixture. The mixture is mixed until it becomes homogeneous. (Recommended mixing time is at least 2 minutes.) The mixture should rest for 1 minute and be used within 15-20 minutes, the temperature of the mixture should be between +5°C and +20°C. Excessive cooling or heating of the dry product before use may affect the properties of the mixture.

Application:

The mixed material is poured onto the area to be smoothed and applied to the surface with a trowel. It should not be applied to surfaces colder than +5°C. After application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (+35°C and above), rain and frost. Cleaning should not be done before the surface is completely cured. Cleaning should be done with water. After application, all tools and machines should be completely cleaned with water before they dry.

Packaging:

CRYSTAL MORTAR-15 is packaged in 25 kg paper bags.

Storage Period:

The shelf life of CRYSTAL MORTAR-15 is 6 months. (In a dry and moisture-free environment)
